My time is a bit compressed today, so here is Bill and I from last year (before I launched this site) discussing the surprising effort to ratify the constitution in Pennsylvania.
After Delaware, Pennsylvania ratified very quickly (December 12, 1787), despite being something of a growing center for Antifederalist opposition.
As it turned out, I discovered a personal connection to the effort, and while on the one hand I am proud of it, on the other hand… well.. it was a cunning plan!
