Back in 2011, a couple things happened heading into the commemorations of December 7th. First, my old XO (Executive Officer) from USS Michigan, LtCDR Jonathon Greenert was named as the new Chief of Naval Operations. He was more than happy to be on the show and talk about the legacy of the attack on Pearl Harbor, with the added perspective of having later been the Commander of both the US 7th Fleet and then as CINCPAC. There has to be something sobering about looking out your office window every day and seeing the Arizona Memorial and in the distance the wreck of the USS Utah.
