I do this for free, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t expenses involved. Many of them are things I would have anyway, ISP, Internet, hosting and the like. But there are some specific expenses that get picked up for Dave Does History. For Liberty 250, I have invested (already) about $400, mostly in books, courses, lectures and materials.

Again, I believe that knowledge should be free, and that I have a mission to teach what I also have learned, as of first importance. It is, to be frank, my calling, and I would do it no matter.

But I have been asked if there is a way to support what I do.

Yes. There are several ways. I can accept PayPal, Venmo and Ko-fi donations.

To be clear, a donation doesn’t get you editorial control of anything, and I don’t make any detailed promises, but there are times when I send out special gedunk to those who support the show. That’s how you get on that super-top-secret list. That and being a supporter in other ways, such as Social Media shares, likes, comments and so on.
